About Metta Welfare Association Founded in 1992 by Venerable Shi Fa Zhao and registered as a charity in 1994, Metta Welfare Association (Metta) provides quality health care and welfare services to the needy regardless of race or religion. From the young to the elderly, the infirmed to the terminally ill, Metta offers a wide range of services that go beyond the mere fulfillment of their needs. Endorsed by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education, Metta is also a member of the National Council of Social Service, Singapore Hospice Council and Singapore Disability Sports Council.   We have shown our support for the association through the sponsorship of our products and vouchers for various events and programmes organised by Metta. Besides that, we have also contributed in several of Metta's fund raising projects.

 

About Operation Smile Singapore Operation Smile is a worldwide children’s medical charity dedicated to providing free surgery for children with correctable facial deformities such as cleft lips, cleft palates, facial tumors and burns. Operation Smile coordinates medical missions to over 50 countries worldwide. Singapore is an Operation Smile Global Resource Chapter that support missions across Asia.   Since 2008, a small group of our staff would volunteer to go on medical trips to Cambodia to aid in the operation. We have held public donation drives to raise funds for the cause, as well as collect daily necessity items to donate to the adults and children. Through the generous support from the public and staff, we have seen numerous lives been transformed and the smiles from the patients at the end of the day makes it all worthwhile.

About Pathlight School Pathlight School is the first autism-focused school in Singapore to provide a special blend of mainstream academics and life skills to children with autism.   Education for these kids in Singapore has always been either in mainstream or special schools until Pathlight came along. It provides the best of both mainstream and special education. The school strives to provide a dignified and transformational journey for every student and ensures they maximize their potential in life.   Over the years, Mr Bean has played a part in the school's various events as key sponsor's, providing drinks and vouchers for the children. Mr Bean also contributed by raising funds through the sales of our merchandise for the Pathlight School Building Fund in 2007.   We took a step further by setting up 2 Mr Bean kiosks, one in Pathlight School and the other in Eden School, Pathlight's sister school. This initiative has enabled the students to learn valuable life skills as well as gain valuable work experience as the kiosks are run by the students.
